Description
Grappolo d’Oro, born in 1974 of the Martincigh family’s passion for viticulture, is located in the Colli Di Spessa, which sits at the heart of the DOC area of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The approximately 20 hectares of terraced vineyards enjoy an ideal south-southwest exposure protected by the Julian Alps and are influenced by the nearby presence of the sea. The grapes ripen in a mild, breezy climate that favours the ripening of the grapes and a considerable accumulation of aromas in the skin of the grapes. Research on how to achieve the finest quality possible using the latest technologies and respect for tradition is this estate’s winning formula. Autochthonous and international vines that express the very heart and soul of the Friulian people. Fresh, fruity and drinkable wines—the result of hard work and a love for terroir. We present Bag-in-Box Red Wine Merlot IGT delle Venezie 12.5%, 5 litres made from Merlot grapes.
