The Calatroni Agricultural Company was founded in 1964, when Luigi Calatroni, driven by the end of his sharecropping contract, decided to purchase his former employer’s vineyard. In the following years the company expanded and developed under the guidance of Fausto and Marisa Calatroni: now in its third generation of winemakers, the company today combines the experience of tradition with the modern oenological and agronomic techniques that the young Cristian brothers ( 37 years old) and Stefano (32 years old) contributed with professionalism and passion. Continuous technical improvements and qualitative progress have allowed the full valorisation of the grapes from the property’s vineyards, located in the municipality of Montecalvo Versiggia at an altitude between 180 and 320 m above sea level, in an area particularly suited to the cultivation of various vines. This is the contribution of the Calatroni family to the growth of the Oltrepò Pavese, an area full of potential yet to be discovered. We present Bag in Box ORGANIC Red Pinot Noir IGT Province of Pavia 13% from 100% Pinot Noir grapes.
